— Donating Sanitary Supplies to Women in Zhaohua District, Sichuan via the Gongshu District Red Cross

“Period poverty” is a long-standing yet often overlooked global issue. Especially in remote areas, many adolescent girls face financial difficulties that prevent them from obtaining basic menstrual products, which in turn affects their health, education, and quality of life.
To actively fulfill corporate social responsibility and convey care and respect for women, BI Industrial, in June 2025, partnered with the Red Cross Society of Gongshu District, Hangzhou, to donate a batch of sanitary pads to adolescent girls and female friends in Zhaohua District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. This donation aims to ease the difficulties rural women face during menstruation, helping them study and live with peace of mind, improve their awareness of personal health, and protect their physical and psychological well-being during puberty.
This charitable donation reflects B.I. Industrial’s core corporate culture of “people-oriented values and care for society.” A company representative stated, “We always pay attention to the specific needs of women in development and hope to help more women escape period poverty through practical actions, enabling them to grow up healthy, confident, and with dignity.”
These supplies are not only practical assistance, but also carry care and hope. B.I. Industrial believes that improving menstrual hygiene challenges should not rely solely on individual effort, but also requires joint attention and sustained input from all sectors of society. Through cooperation with public welfare organizations, the company hopes to raise more public awareness and action on women’s health issues.
